What is complex trauma?
Complex trauma is typically a combination of invasive adverse events that are ongoing and interpersonal. These may include repetitive physical, sexual or emotional abuse, repetitive exposure to family or other violence, ongoing neglect, chronic medical trauma including serious physical injury or illness, and/or traumatic loss.
What is traumatic loss and/or traumatic grief?
Traumatic loss and/or traumatic grief can occur when a child has experienced the violent or accidental death of a parent, sibling or other important person in the child’s life.
Is my child traumatized and do they need treatment?
Not every child that has experienced what many may consider a traumatizing event will develop symptoms or need treatment. Some children may not develop long-term trauma symptoms. Each child and person may respond differently to a traumatic event, have differing levels of resiliency and have different support systems. Your child is unique. Please contact us for a consultation to determine if your child needs trauma treatment.

CTC accepts most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Discover, cash and checks.
Insurance
CTC does not accept insurance at this time; however, we are currently pursuing Medicaid coverage. If necessary, we can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance prior to counseling to determine what they will cover. CTC is considered an out-of-network provider.
Cancellation Policy
Please notify CTC of any cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. You may be charged if you cancel.
